Lone Cat in Zhuo Alley

On the land shrouded in gray mist, the entire cat clan lives. Cats of the same race are naturally divided into two extremes. The noble purebred cat lives in a warm house and has exclusive access to fresh fish, warm sunshine and the entire fertile territory. They don't have to work, they rely on solid clan rules to enjoy themselves for generations, and they have all the power and resources in their hands. The wild cats at the bottom can only huddle in the alley corners and ditches, exposed to wind and rain, and without enough food. The protagonist, Amao, is the humblest one among them. The rules of the cat clan have always been tailor-made only for nobles. The aristocratic cats will rob and bully the weak and will only be let off lightly; the lower-class cats will be severely beaten, expelled, or even starved to death by the guards if they just pick up a piece of leftover food or step on the wrong ground. The diligent old cats bowed down and paid tribute throughout their lives, but were ruthlessly abandoned when they grew old; the weak and weak kittens were innocently convicted and had no mercy; the few cats who wanted to resist injustice would only be brutally suppressed in the end and became victims that shocked their fellow humans. What's even more ironic is that the powerful cat confuses right and wrong, calls exploitation an order, attributes poverty to stupidity, accuses the bottom class of being vulgar and lazy, but never mentions resource monopoly or class blockade. Same roots, same race, separated by high walls. Hard work cannot buy a way out, meekness cannot buy mercy, family background determines life, and fairness only exists in the lies of the powerful. The entire cat clan seems to be stable and peaceful, but inside it has long been rotten, dark, indifferent and unfair, trapping countless weak people like Ah Mao, desperate to survive in the mud.
