Everyone Evolves Through External Means, So What Do You Mean, Your Sword Opened the Heavenly Gate?

To determine the ultimate direction of human evolution, Earth Online has descended upon Blue Star. Those selected will become game designers, modifying the people of an entire nation to fight to the death. The victor will rule Blue Star and lead the evolution of all nations. Possible modifications include, but are not limited to, mechanical ascension, ancestral bloodline revival, worshipping gods, and performance-enhancing drugs...

Wang Lin, recently returned from cultivating immortality, is selected by Earth Online. But he discovers that, having benefited from science, almost every designer has chosen mechanical ascension. Meanwhile, the Dragon Kingdom lags behind the Beautiful Nation in technology in almost every respect.

The Dragon Kingdom has already lost twice in the grand battles. If it loses one last time, it will never be able to recover.

With the whole world watching, Wang Lin begins his plan to transform humanity.

Esteemed designer, how do you think humanity should be modified to rule the universe?

Humans with frail bodies, turned into cyborgs through mechanical ascension?

Bloodline heirs who worship their ancestors and return to their roots?

Or hulking brutes who use drugs to make their bodies invincible?

Forget all that!

Let my cultivators handle it!

Before long, the other nations notice that the people modified by the Dragon Kingdom are a little... unusual.

What do you mean, a scholar doesn't say he won or lost in battle, but instead says, “I've attained enlightenment”?

What do you mean, someone practices until he suddenly throws his head back and laughs, “Hahaha! This Daoist has made it!”?

What do you mean, someone swings a wooden sword for his entire life, only to split open the gates of heaven with a single strike?

And why is your Human Emperor Banner giving off black smoke?
