When the words in ancient books begin to kill people, the world collapses amid grammatical errors. Jiang Lin, a library proofreader with obsessive-compulsive disorder, triggered the taboo sentence "Fire is Tears of Ice" during a routine inspection, and witnessed the flames instantly freeze and explode. The outbreak of the "Word Plague" gave him the [Eye of Tomorrow] that can foresee crises for 0.5 Seconds, but he also bears the curse of forgetting his memory when using the ability. In order to find the source of the disaster, Jiang Lin embarked on the northbound journey. Books become sources of infection, roads become literal traps, and he must use linguistic knowledge to correct the distorted reality. When he found clues to the "Artisan's Holy Book" in the ruins, a more terrifying truth emerged: the entire world was just a draft page of the "Original Book", and some kind of existence was systematically erasing human civilization. This is a war of narrative against annihilation. The blacksmith's hammer can forge city walls, the singer's melody can soothe people's hearts, and Jiang Lin must learn to recode human civilization into a story that cannot be deleted before he forgets himself.
