There is a black booklet on the bedside table of every dormitory in the Deep Blue Base. Turning to the first page, there is the wreckage of Wenyuan IV. There is a line of handwritten words below: "They taught me how to operate a mecha, but they didn't teach me how to give it away." Giant mechas are humanity's last line of defense against the invasion of the abyss. Their combatants graduated from the mecha academy and were sent to this seaside base to fill those "vacancies." A vacancy means someone died. Or injured. Or crazy. The roar of steel confronts the towering behemoths. Where is the way for human beings to survive? The mecha is not really hot-blooded, but it burns hot blood.
