Seven-Color Lotus

In 1914, the Principality of Gray Ridge - a small country sandwiched between two empires and could be crushed at any time. Eight-year-old Helian took her six-year-old sister Mo Die and walked into the door of Holy Trinity Monastery. The elder sister is extremely talented and can master any physical skills instantly and with just one practice. The younger sister is autistic and hardly communicates with others, but she can reconstruct the whole story from the soil of a shoe sole. The abbess took them in and gave them a home. But beneath the calm surface of this ancient building, the undercurrent of great power rivalry has penetrated into every brick. The days in the canyon town seem peaceful. The elder sister learns martial arts from an old boxer in the kitchen, while the younger sister uses a paintbrush to open up her closed world bit by bit. They made friends and met adults who were willing to protect them. But the shadow of war will not stop because of children's laughter. When the gears start turning, everyone will be forced to make a choice - and for some choices, making the right choice may not lead to the right result.
