This Game Is Strange, But So Am I

In 2032, a thread appears on everyone’s little finger. A transparent thread, reaching up into the sky, its end nowhere to be seen. No one knows where it leads. They only know that when the thread snaps, the person disappears. My name is Jiang Lin. I have to save someone. Only when the thread finally broke did I understand what was connected to its other end: A table, five people, and a revolver. A game of Russian roulette, with the bullet destined to hit you. A villa, five killers. The rules say only one person can survive, but the killers don’t seem inclined to follow them. A clock with no numbers. Find the true time, or stay forever. Each of these instances is stranger than the last. But that’s all right. I’m strange too.
