In the "New Kowloon" Walled City of 2077, the gap between the rich and the poor has widened extremely. The people at the upper level live in the "sky dome area" in the clouds, enjoying pure air and immortality technology; the people at the bottom are crowded in the "abyss layer" where they never see the light of day all year round, relying on prosthetic modifications and illegal drugs to survive.
