The Sound of Wasteland

The year is 2042, the twentieth year after the collapse of human civilization. Four 18-year-old boys from the "past" - Cao Xiao, Cui Hong, Liu Qinghui, and Zhao Huan, accidentally traveled to this doomsday wasteland world. The once prosperous cities have become ruins where beasts are rampant, and the reinforced concrete jungle is slowly being swallowed up by nature. Mutated creatures lurk in the darkness, while the surviving humans are struggling to rebuild farming civilization in rural settlements. Without golden fingers or super powers, this group of young people who can only read must struggle to survive among hunger, beasts, gangsters and conspiracies. They have seen gamblers draw guns on each other over a mouthful of food, they have seen innocent people being melted alive by radiation, and they have also been surrounded by wild wolves hanging on by a thread. In this new world with ambiguous morals and broken order, they gradually understand that surviving is a victory in itself. And when they heard the news that order might have been reestablished in the south, a choice lay before them - should they settle down and be farmers in troubled times, or should they embark on an unknown journey to find the spark of civilization?
