After Binding the Wrong System, the Empress Keeps Plotting Against Me

My name is Lin Yan, and I transmigrated recently.

From the start, I became a low-ranking soldier in the city defense battalion. My monthly pay is one tael and two qian, and I usually have to buy wontons on credit.

Fortunately, my golden finger may have arrived late, but it did arrive: the System activated!

Then it suddenly disappeared.

Thinking I'd lost the standard transmigrator perk, I decided to settle down and be an ordinary soldier.

But lately, I've noticed something strange about the reigning empress.

For no apparent reason, she gives me money, sends me martial arts manuals, and promotes me with a raise.

Even more outrageous, the empress is actually helping me court women: the “Capital's foremost talented beauty,” the “cold-faced female general,” the “little physician from Medicine King Valley”...

As expected, transmigrators get amazing perks. Even without a golden finger, I can easily win the empress's heart.

The days when I'm ennobled, appointed chancellor, and crowned king can't be far off!

My name is Xiao Ruoxi. I am the empress of Great Qian, at the peak of the second rank in martial arts and one of the ten strongest people under heaven.

Recently, while traveling incognito, I was suddenly bound to something called a “System.”

This System issues missions on a schedule, ordering me to help a low-ranking soldier named Lin Yan become a marquis, a chancellor, and a king.

I paid it no mind, assuming this so-called “System” was a hallucination, and ignored its missions.

Then the deadline arrived, the mission was incomplete, and I was actually punished!

What makes me even angrier is that when the mission is completed, Lin Yan gets the rewards while I suffer the punishments!

I'm so outstanding, yet I have to rely on a city defense battalion soldier for help. It's absolutely infuriating!

I will never give in.

Not long afterward.

The empress comes to Lin Yan, eyes red with tears, and says aggrievedly, “I was clearly here first. They can only be concubines!”
