Old Pictures of South Street

Zhou Mingde, a contract worker at the County Archives, originally just wanted to verify the ownership of the old house on South Street for his mother, but in an old survey map that had been missing for many years, he discovered a whole set of methods for the old street to slowly lose its house number, residents, and finally ownership. The more he investigated, the more he discovered that there was no clean villain in this matter. Some are just supplementary tests, rectifications, renumbering, asset liquidation, and a group of people who all know something is wrong but can only get on with their lives. In the end, he may not be able to stop the renovation, but he decides to leave a chain of belonging for this street that no longer has only one interpretation.
