The Sound of Spring!

"Meow--woo" a shrill cry like a baby broke through the silence of the night, so hysterical and unbridled. Almost instantly, he knew instinctively, what kind of sound was this? Why? What animal is barking? It's the smell of spring, the call of spring and the excitement of spring. He shook his head disapprovingly, with a contemptuous smile on his face: How could this be! Even if spring has arrived... Even if we are lonely and lonely... But beasts are still beasts. Even so, he still couldn't imagine that the normally well-behaved, nimble and well-educated kitten would now be so rough and reckless, not caring about other people's feelings at all, and release so much energy and make such a big noise. This wild wailing made him feel as if he was not living in a bustling city, but in a vast grassland or a dense jungle, sitting around a tent with a blazing bonfire with his relatives and friends, surrounded by darkness. "Meow--woo" was another howl that sounded like a wolf but not a wolf. Then, there was a gentle echo not far away, like an echo in the valley. Then the world suddenly began to boil. Almost all the streets and alleys, and all the cats under the sky, were barking at the top of their lungs with their own different tones and rhythms, far and near, high and low.
