The Last High-Speed Train to Baoding

Shen Zhiyi, an illustrator who has worked hard in Shijiazhuang for many years but repeatedly hit the wall, boarded the last high-speed train to Baoding with exhaustion and confusion, intending to join his distant relatives and start a new life. During the journey, she met photographer Lu Zeyan who went to Baoding alone to look for his old friend, and the two became connected through a small accident. Shen Zhiyi didn't know that this seemingly accidental journey would hide clues to Lu Zeyan's life experience that he had been searching for for many years; and Lu Zeyan didn't expect that this taciturn girl would become a beam of light on his gloomy journey to find his wife. The 30-minute high-speed train ride from Shijiazhuang to Baoding started the bond between the two. They met and got to know each other in the fireworks of the old city of Baoding, untied each other's heart knot, and together they uncovered a warm past that had been sealed for many years. Finally, they found their own destination and hope in the ordinary city life.
