Restart Day

In 035, a space fungus called "Black Sun Spore" crashed onto the earth. Those infected will transform into "aberrants" (zombie) within 48 hours. But it is different from ordinary zombie movies-the aberrations will evolve as they devour humans, gradually evolving from brainless zombies to "king-level" beings with wisdom, superpowers, and even the ability to control low-level zombies. Humanity was nearly extinct within three years, with less than 1% of the remaining population huddled in a few shelters. The protagonist Chen Mo is an ordinary scavenger in the third year of the Doomsday Era. His ability level is only D-level (the lowest). He was killed by an A-level aberration while searching for supplies for a shelter. At the moment of his death, he awakened a power that no human being has ever had before - "Restart": After death, the consciousness will return to the 72 hours before the doomsday outbreak, retaining all memories. But every time he restarts, his "life anchor points" will be consumed. When the anchor points are exhausted, he will die completely and cannot restart again. Core conflict: Chen Mo must find out the truth about the origin of the spores and prevent the doomsday from erupting within the limited "number of restarts", or at least - after the doomsday comes, accumulate enough power to protect the people he loves and end this catastrophe.
