Path Against the Tide

[Leveling Up + Adventure + Sword and Sorcery]

Announcement! No players remain alive on the Path of the Countercurrent. This season has ended. New players, please enter the game as soon as possible!

On the opening day of the Path of the Countercurrent’s fourth season, Duanmu Yi sets out with a hundred thousand new players to transmigrate into a world of swords and sorcery, prepared to die as he takes the road against the tide.

But no sooner has he logged in than he is caught in a long-planned massacre. The female classmate who was supposed to have been declared dead in the third season is standing right in front of him, alive and well.

Deep beneath the crimson earth, the drowned whisper their rambling words:

The great divine kingdom of Obis has collapsed, and the gods are falling into ruin;

The powerful, autocratic empire has fallen, and the Imperial Guard’s swords point toward the gods;

The magic-worshipping kingdom has crumbled, and the royal family’s forsaken spirits wander the land;

Ahead lie calamity and death. The gods all stand against you. Are you ready?
