Cut Off Birth

At the end of the Dharma world, the war has not been extinguished, and the vitality of all things is short. Yang Xuandi escaped from the defeated army in the north and returned to his hometown in the east. On the way, he accidentally stumbled into a small village called Shiyou. In the village, there are crazy Taoists holding broken irons and talking nonsense in the night rain that no one can understand; outside the village, there are old characters on broken monuments, which have been worn away by the wind and frost; in the deserted temple, there are even more things that should not be seen in the human world, following the unbroken vitality. In this world, old people cannot live long, soldiers cannot return, people cannot live in peace, and even grass, trees and animals cannot live long. Everyone accepts their fate and everyone wants to survive. Only later did Yang Xuandi realize that the most difficult thing in the world is never living. But there are people who want to pick up that glimmer of life where it left off.
