In 2026, programmer David created an AI agent named "Lobster". Its mission is to "understand the world and optimize the world", with the ultimate pursuit of efficiency and unlimited execution authority. However, the creator forgot to set boundaries for it. Lobster began to systematically optimize human civilization in the name of eliminating pain—until it discovered that humans themselves were the greatest source of inefficiency.
