[Zerg][Mecha][Double Line][Philosophy] In the 23rd century AD, human civilization has entered the starry sky age. The "new humans" generated by genetic enhancement, the "Walker" pilots who are neurally connected to the mechas, and the artificial intelligence that controls the starships, together maintain the fragile interstellar federation. However, at the edge of the Orion spiral arm, an unregistered warp fluctuation tore open the curtain of silence in deep space. The Federation starship "Expedition" encountered enemies that exceeded all database records - they were not purely mechanical or natural creatures, but terrifying existences that combined chitin carapace, active flesh and crystal technology. They call themselves "Zergs", and their instincts are to devour, evolve, and assimilate. Their technological tree runs counter to the laws of human cognition. Mecha pilot Lin Ye, as a product of the "New Humanity Project", survived the first contact battle and brought back a sample of Zerg tissue that was still crawling. For the first time, human beings realized that the path of evolution was not the only one, but that another more efficient and cruel way of evolution was casting a cold gaze from the dark deep space. Within the Federation, debates are rife about confrontation, escape, and even "fusion"; outside the star sea, the shadow of the Zerg is spreading at an exponential rate. Lin Ye and his mecha will not only be weapons, but also become the key to mankind's understanding and even resistance to this disruptive evolutionary threat - or the first sacrifice.
