Thirty-Three Years of Rusty Cuffs

In the 1986 Qinghe serial case, the alibi written by me personally allowed the real culprit to escape. Thirty-three years, ten lives, and a pair of old rusty handcuffs have become a knot that I cannot untie in my life. I am in the advanced stage of lung cancer, and with three months left to live, I have been reduced from a senior criminal policeman to an outcast of the system, a black policeman in the eyes of the world.
