The painter Chen Zhe was forced to enter a purgatory-like reservation because his daughter died in a "system optimization". He formed an alliance with a rebel codenamed "Rusty Nail", sneaked into the forbidden "Silent Zone", and discovered the ultimate truth: Human beings who cannot be "optimized" are being sent into the Omega Zone, and their consciousness is ground into "information energy" and pumped into deep space.
