Between the mortal world and the fairyland, there is a door that mortals are looking for all their lives. The story takes place in the late Tang and early Song dynasties. Every day he lives is a challenge to the order of life and death. In order to save his seriously ill sister, he took a desperate risk and sneaked into Emperor Dongyue's "Seventy-Two Divisions" hell, accidentally releasing the "Lord of Obsession" that had been suppressed for thousands of years - a dark force condensed from all the unfulfilled wishes in the world. Since then, Mount Tai has collapsed, the Yellow River has flowed backwards, and the world has fallen into the chaos of "misplaced wishes": good people suddenly have evil thoughts, the dead do not want to rest in peace, and the living do not dare to move forward. Seven Sanxian and Jiang Ziling were involved in this catastrophe. They discovered that to quell this turmoil, they could not rely on magic, but needed to overcome the "heart" with their "heart". Jiang Ziling must go through his own life and death again, facing the pain of losing his mother, his love for his sister, and his hatred of fate; and the seven immortals saw in him the most unforgettable past events in the world before he became an immortal.
