The Person Who Takes the Order

Zhao Weidong has always felt that as long as he is willing to endure, the steering wheel can always lead him to success. He learns to drive, drives a taxi, and runs at night. He wants to make a living with a car, start a family, and want his mother to live a good life. But times have suddenly changed. Short-term orders in front of the site are becoming more and more fragmented, and platform rules are getting tighter and tighter. Scores, hot zones, and order acceptance rates have gradually replaced experience and dignity. When an accident completely shattered his life, he realized that he had been running for half his life without really catching anything. "The Order Taker" is a film about the reality of a taxi driver falling into the platform era, about the changes in the industry, and about how ordinary people are slowly being crushed in the face of responsibility, debt, illness and destiny.
