Wax Winged Angel

"I" was a security guard on a starship. On a date after get off work, "my" lover Ibis told me the story of her hometown. Her hometown is a frontier planet orbiting a black dwarf star. There lives a group of "angels" turned from humans, all of whom have wings of light on their backs and haloes on their heads. The entire surface of the planet is wrapped in dense clouds, and the gray wasteland is covered with huge mechanical debris. All the light and heat come from the "Seraphs" that periodically move above the clouds. Like all developing humans, they experienced dramatic social changes. Various disputes, oppressions, and revolutions took place one after another. They use the eternal wisdom, greed and desire of mankind to interpret their own stories on this planet...
