Young Shen Yan

In the 5th year of the Republic of China, nine-year-old Shen Yan's father died of illness. He then moved to Shanghai to study at the Huatong Public School of the Ministry of Industry. He started as an apprentice in a printing workshop, was admitted to the Huishen Public House, and then transferred to the patrol house of the public concession. After experiencing the May 30th Massacre and the April 12th Coup, he finally founded the Yanzhi Detective Agency at the age of 24. This is the growth history of a cold detective, and also a floating world picture of Shanghai in the 30 years of the Republic of China. "Young Shen Yan" is the prequel and character growth history of "Yanzhi Detective Agency". "Yanzhi Detective Agency" tells the story of a series of cases solved by 24-year-old Shen Yan after he founded a detective agency in Yuxingli, a public concession in Shanghai. The detective who is cold, talks little, attaches great importance to evidence, and sticks to the bottom line has already matured. What "Young Shen Yan" wants to answer is: How does such a detective become?
