Under the Embroidered Moon

In 2067, the wasteland after the disaster. Human beings huddle within ecological barriers and survive on virtual memories. Sample bank technician Chen Yu possesses twelve tubes of heirloom seeds left behind by his grandfather. When the barrier breaks down and pursuit comes, he is forced to flee into the radioactive wasteland with the seeds, where he meets Ye Wan, the daughter of an underground farmer, and Lao Qiang, a veteran of the wasteland, and becomes involved in a war to preserve real species. The man behind his pursuit was the idealistic tyrant who used climate experiments to destroy the world forty years ago. A seed, a search for the truth spanning forty years, and a resistance to rebuild "mistakes" in a perfect hell. Under the rusty moon, everything withers.
