The End of the War: Fighting to Survive

During the Beiyang period of the Republic of China, warlords' wars swept across the land of China. Tangtuan was surrounded by Wang Tingjiang's 15th Division on all sides. The 35th Brigade was watching from the north, and the 29th and 31st Brigades were watching from the south. It was surrounded by elite enemy divisions in the west, and the Tongji River in the east was dangerous and heavily fortified on the other side. In the desperate situation of a last-ditch battle, the regiment leader Tang Zhenbang vowed not to surrender to the enemy. The reconnaissance company commander Kou Wenlong led his troops to fight to the death. They accidentally connected with the Shenjiazhuang righteous soldiers and opened up a way out in the conspiracy and bloody battle. From the bloody plot in Linggui Mountain, to the tragic defense in Shenjiazhuang, to the ultimate breakout at Tongji River, a group of soldiers fought against the desperate situation with their flesh and blood, and wrote an iron-blooded chapter with their iron bones and loyal souls that in troubled times, the only way to survive is through war.
