The Eight Hundred Warriors of the Sichuan War of Resistance

In 1937, the Anti-Japanese War broke out in an all-round way. Enthusiasm for the anti-Japanese war in Xichong County, Sichuan was high. 855 Strong men came out of Sichuan to resist the Japanese and defend their country. They participated in the Battle of Hukou, the Defense of Nanchang, the Counterattack of Nanchang, the Battle of Shanggao, and the Defense of Longqu. In 1945, when the Anti-Japanese War was victorious, only one of the 855 people survived. During the Anti-Japanese War, the strong men of Xichong were not afraid of life and death and bravely killed the enemy. Many strong men died on the road of forming death squads to charge. Because they carried the catchphrase: "Hammer" and "Afraid of a hammer", they were called "Hammer Soldiers". History makes people remember: this is not a joke, but an honor and a medal!
