My Ridiculous First Half of Life, Born in the 1980S

Midfield chronicle of the post-80s generation: 1985, no confusion or panic at forty As time goes by, the once high-spirited generation born in the 1980s has quietly entered the middle stage of life, and is no longer the young generation that was talked about back then. Our generation has different life trajectories: some have braved the wind and waves and stood on the ideal high ground; some have experienced ups and downs and struggled in life; some are still walking on the road to success; and some are temporarily confused and looking for direction in the trough. I was born in the 1980s in 1985 and have been on a life journey for 40 years in the blink of an eye. In this half of my life, I have experienced the joy of harvest, the glory after hard work, and the burning expectations for the future; I have also encountered bumps in the road ahead, experienced the pain of being unable to sleep at night, and hidden the sorrow and anger that no one can empathize with. I have tasted all kinds of flavors of life and seen all kinds of warmth and coldness in the world. This is not a glamorous success study, nor is it a tragic book of complaints, but the most authentic half-life memoir of an ordinary person born in the 1980s. Using humorous and down-to-earth words, it details the gains, losses and growth over forty years, and tells the struggle, perseverance and relief of our generation. I write this to every friend born in the 1980s who is on the same journey. I hope we will look back on the past without regrets, face the present without panic, have the strength to rush into the future, and still live with freedom and brilliance in the second half of our lives.
