The History of the Shen Family Theater

[The Shen Family Theater has experienced hundreds of years of ups and downs. The theater is there, the people are there, and the building is there. A theater has lived for 126 years. In 1900, Shanxi businessman Shen Liansheng built a theater next to the Linqing Canal in Shandong and named it the "Shen Family Theater". After four generations: some studied in the building, while others left and became famous. Some people have been waiting at the theater for a lifetime, while others have been listening outside the walls for ten years. The theater has gone through wars, closures, been converted into canteens, and was almost demolished.
