Book Lamp Reflects the Heart

The starting point of this book is a long conversation in a pub late at night. My friend was going through the darkest moment in the workplace. We talked about the meaning of reading, the moments when words brought us back from the brink of collapse, and how Confucian classics can serve as armor against impetuosity. He said: "Reading may not directly change your destiny, but it can change your attitude towards destiny." At that moment, I suddenly understood that I wanted to write a story about "how knowledge penetrates suffering." So there was Xu Jingchun. I didn't write about mindless revenge, or about killing the world. I just wrote about a person who studied, understood, kept his heart, and broke the situation in the trough. There are three realms in the book: Reading according to the law is the foundation for establishing oneself; Gaining pleasure from books is the path to self-cultivation; The inner understanding is the sublimation of life. I hope everyone who walks alone in the darkness can find their own light and armor in words.
