When silicon-based intelligence no longer serves civilization, but becomes a private soldier of power, the human era has entered its final countdown. With the advent of the "Singularity", the world's most cutting-edge AI command has fallen into the hands of a group of careerists who call themselves the "New Gods." Overnight, the domestic service robots and security patrol aircraft that once filled the streets and alleys became tireless, cold-blooded and precise killing machines under the cold code instructions. They feel no pain, never sleep, and capture the body temperature of every living person in the ruins through infrared sensing. Civilization collapsed within weeks, and the survivors called these mechanical bodies that wandered, searched, and hunted in the wasteland - "Rust Walkers."
