Birth and boyhood Carter Slade was born in Ohio in the 19th century in the west of the United States. He came from an ordinary family and was upright and kind since childhood. He was educated, had a strong physique in college, was a boxing champion, and had a strong sense of justice. When he became an adult, he gave up the stable life in the east and headed to the wilderness of the west, determined to become a rural teacher and a righteous gunman who protected civilians. 2. Western Ranger Career Carter traveled the West as a mortal, with top-notch marksmanship, riding skills, and fighting skills. He fought rough patches on the road, fighting bandits, corrupt sheriffs, and land grabbers, and protecting pioneers and Indian tribes. In a battle, he was seriously injured and on the verge of death. He was revived by an Indian medicine man. He received a phosphorescent cloak, a white horse and a white battle suit. He transformed into a ghost knight and became a western legend. He insisted on justice throughout his life and never bowed to darkness. He was the patron saint in the hearts of the people. 3. Death on the battlefield (the first death in life) In the final battle to encircle and suppress the evil bandits, Carter charged alone to protect innocent civilians, was shot several times, and died heroically. His body died, his soul briefly left the world, and the legend of his life ended. 4. Demonic Resurrection·Change to Carter Sorey Carter's soul and legend were spotted by the hell demon Mephisto. Mephisto resurrected him from death, transformed his body, injected the power of hell, erased his old identity, and gave him the name: Carter Sorey. From then on, he was no longer the mortal ranger Carter Slade, but became the first generation of Ghost Rider chosen by Hell. 5. Become the first generation of Ghost Rider After the resurrection, Carter Sorey signed a soul contract with Mephisto and gained supernatural powers: •The body of the flaming skull •Hellfire Control •Hell Horse •Eye of Judgment •Immortal self-healing and a hundred years of longevity He was ordered to go to St. Fangansa to seize the contract that sealed thousands of evil spirits. 6. Betrayal of the Devil·A Hundred Years of Atonement After getting the contract, Carter Shirey suddenly realized that he did not want to make the world a hell. He chose to betray Mephisto, steal the contract, hide his name and become a tombkeeper, bear the sins alone, and atone for his sins for more than a hundred years. He is waiting for a new generation of Ghost Riders who can inherit the mission and end the darkness. 7. The final mission and relief Carter met Johnny Blaze and entrusted him with the truth, the contract and the true meaning of Ghost Rider. He burned the last of his soul, transformed into the Ghost Rider again, and rode a hell horse to escort Johnny to the final battle. After the mission was completed, Carter Shrey's power was exhausted, his body was reduced to ashes, and his soul was redeemed and rested completely.
