Strange Stories About Stairs

Story introduction (200 words): Levi, a game designer addicted to working overtime, discovered that the stairs in his apartment would have an extra step at midnight. Once you step on it, you can exchange memories for relief—forget debts, illness, and guilt. But he gradually realized that every time a memory was swallowed up by the "Ladder Fairy", a corresponding relief would appear on the wall of the stairs, and the entire building was quietly deforming under the weight of these forgotten things.
