The Archaeological Record of Light Gaps: the Recursion Hypothesis

The "Recursive Prophet" came out of nowhere, declaring with cold mathematical and archaeological evidence that the future has been locked by some kind of cosmic-level "recursive observation" and that free will is just an illusion. The world is in an existential crisis. On top of these ruins, the "Recursive Archeology Department" was quietly established. Mo Xuan, the logic weaver, is afraid of emotional contamination; Hua Ran, the empathizer, drowning in other people's emotions; Qin Ge, the interference executor, persistently protects but always faces loss; Bai Wei, the historical anchor, feels powerless in front of the grand narrative; Lin Che, the technological intruder, resists all rigidity with a game attitude. These five cracks were ordered to track down the deeper mystery behind the "Prophet". They soon discovered that the "prophecies" and "visions" spread across the world for thousands of years in human history all pointed to a self-referential "Mobius strip." However, in-depth investigation reveals an even more shocking truth: it is not the chain of determinism, but the "waste heat of compilation" and painful moans leaked from a huge, ancient, cosmic system that continues to "fail to compile". What they were facing was a cosmic giant who was "hemoptysis and staggering". There is no grand mission to save the world. In this desperate situation of absolute logic and emptiness of meaning, five scarred souls, based on empathy for "pain" itself, reached an absurd consensus: no longer asking "why", but mapping "where it hurts the most", and trying to weave a fragile observation network to prepare a perhaps useless "gauze" for the next inevitable "collapse" of the system.
