The Seventh Last Words

After the sudden death of his father, urban white-collar Chen Mo is forced to take over the fate of his family's "last words collector" - when he touches the deceased's belongings, he can travel back to the last seven minutes of his life and experience his final moments. He can only feel and cannot change every time he travels back and forth. At first, Chen Mo only thought it was torture. Until he discovered that those broken death scenes and unfinished words were vaguely pointing to the same family secrets that spanned centuries. When the sixth last words came to an end, he thought the mission was over, but the seventh sympathy started uncontrollably - with his father who had just died. He saw his father sitting in his ancestral home, with all the relics of his ancestors displayed in front of him, and quietly whispering into the void: "The road is paved, let's go forward." At that moment, Chen Mo realized that this ability was by no means a curse, but an ultimate trust that spanned a hundred years, paved for him by the ancestors of all generations who spent their last moments of life.
