Forgotten Era: I Kill Gods with Words

The world has fallen into "reading amnesia". All written information is forgotten after reading it, and civilization has fallen into a silent doomsday. I am Zhou Xun, a down-and-out writer who was ruined by "plagiarism" and hunkered down at the bottom of society. Until that day, I discovered to my horror that I was the only person in this aphasic world who could still "remember" words. When the monopoly giant "Dome Group" feeds the public with addictive information flow, it tries to bury thinking and create an eternal desert of happiness. When the former admirer and now the technology emperor Shen Mo came to me, he smiled and handed me an olive branch and a noose: "Join us, or be forgotten." I chose the third path. I picked up the rusty pen and wrote the first word forgotten by the world. The embers of the old civilization rekindled at the tip of my pen, forbidden whispers echoed in my ears, and the light of a new era actually pierced the darkness. They blocked my works, slandered my name, and labeled me a public enemy of mankind. But they never understood—— What they are blocking is not a writer, but a civilization that is about to be awakened by words... Civilization itself.
