Horror Revival: From Scarecrow to Dread Demon God!

[Dark Folk Horror] [Scarecrow Antagonist] [Revenge] [Horror Ballad]

The rice paddies of Qingxi Village are forbidden ground, where no living person dares tread. Each scarecrow is wrapped around a wronged corpse, its soul bound by locust wood, its straw steeped in resentment. At three in the morning, every scarecrow in the fields sings “The Rice Cries.” When the song ends, someone always dies.

After transmigrating, Lin Mo regained consciousness to nothing but bone-deep cold and suffocation. He had become a scarecrow in Qingxi Village's rice paddies!

His predecessor had witnessed a young villain's crimes and was cruelly sewn into a scarecrow. His dying scream became the endlessly repeating “The Rice Cries,” a death sentence branded into his soul.

Lin Mo was now the new master of this vessel, a body possessed by a wronged spirit.

In a desperate moment, the Strange Corpse Spirit-Plant System activated. [Mission: Blood for blood.] [Rewards: Corpse-Eye Foe Detection, Rice-Stalk Control!]

Fear would be his food, resentment his strength. His revenge began with the first song rising from the rice paddies.

“Mid-month of the seventh, rice ears bend, in the field stands a soulless man…

Flames burn his body, rain beats his face, he weeps, asking when his child will return…

Root to root, soul bound to soul, beneath the mud, no sleep comes…”
