Phantom Twin Cities

When I was young, I still remember that the place I was in was a small coastal town, quiet and quiet. Major newspapers and TV stations would never report on us because our place was really uninteresting. Until that day, there was no warning. When I woke up in the morning, I saw rows of high-rise buildings hidden in the foggy sea in the distance. It was a city skyline that I could only see online. I thought it was an illusion, but no, everyone saw it, it was an extremely real reality. That was the day everything changed here. This is no longer a coastal city, there is a continent rising from the sea, and there are cities on the continent, from another world. The once wide sea turned into a big river, and I could no longer see the appearance of the sea. There was only one country on that continent, the Kingdom of Ram. Soon, the Kingdom of Ram established diplomatic relations with my country, and then with other countries. The city I was in merged with another nearby city belonging to the Ram Kingdom to form a neutral zone, and I was inexplicably kicked out of my own country. From then on, I was just a native of this brand new city we all called the Twin Cities, even though that wasn't its official name. A bridge was erected on both sides, and more and more people flocked here, and soon it became the most prosperous metropolis in the world. All this happened so fast, it only took fifteen years, but it had nothing to do with me. I was still a bun seller.
