Seattle Kill Line

In the continuous rain in Seattle, biomedical graduate student Levi became a forensic assistant in order to pay for tuition. He traveled to police stations, homeless camps and underground pipelines every day to transport unclaimed broken remains. He once firmly believed in the "American Dream", but he witnessed the shocking truth on the autopsy table - a programmer with an annual salary of one million froze to death on the street due to bankruptcy during a surgery, and Chen, a skilled immigrant who had worked hard for half his life, became an "underground mole man" due to illness and no money for medical treatment. The fate of these deceased people points to a cold "American kill line": once they encounter crises such as unemployment or serious illness, they will be instantly "cleared" by the social system.
