Punctuation Mark Stuck on the Seventh and a Half Floors

The 52 seconds when the elevator was stuck on the seventh and a half floors was the longest suspension in my life. I asked my newly moved neighbor, "Do we look like supporting characters stuck at the turning point of the story?" She thought for a while and replied: "Maybe not even supporting characters, at most, two punctuation marks that I forgot to delete."
