Spark: Notes on Civilization

The day the earth disappears, there will be no apocalyptic fire. Cities, oceans, history and memories have been "flattened" as a whole and sealed in a dimension that humans have not yet understood. The survivors rebuild civilization on Mars. They lit up the dome, calculated oxygen, argued about the system, and repeatedly confirmed one thing at night - are those left behind really dead? When abnormal signals began to reverberate, and when time showed uneven folds, a child born on Mars unexpectedly became a node connecting different forms of existence. He does not have the answer, he can only "perceive" - ​​perceive the world that is still running, the consciousness that is preserved but gradually fading. This is not a cheery story about salvation. It describes the evolution of civilization in desperate situations: how technology changes ethics, how survival reshapes emotions, and whether humans must remain "inefficient" in order to prove that they are still alive. When the universe organizes civilization in a calm way, the only resistance of human beings may not be stronger power, but to refuse to be simplified memories, emotions and choices. This is a science fiction epic about dimensions, time and human nature, and also a long question about "whether civilization is worth preserving."
