In order to understand his grandfather's unfinished old city renovation plan, he took Su Xiao, his junior sister who majored in surveying and mapping, and traveled through the old streets of Jinan - under the bluestone slabs on Qushuiting Street, he found the "hidden spring node" marked on the drawing; in the dome structure of Hongjialou Church, he found the load-bearing columns corresponding to the drawing parameters. In the process, they not only have to deal with the real estate developer's demolition plan for the old neighborhood, but also uncover the secrets about Jinan's "symbiosis of spring water veins and buildings" hidden in grandpa's drawings. In the end, Lin Ye used CAD to reproduce a plan that blended modern design with the texture of the old city, preserving the old street and understanding his grandfather's obsession that "buildings are the growth rings of the city."
