On January 1, 2012, the consciousness of all mankind was swept back to its origin by a silent stormy wave. Time restarts, but the world has never been pure. Countless fragmented memories of the future are scattered among hundreds of millions of people, becoming the gold and curse of the new world. Chen Mo, an ordinary librarian, woke up in the chaos of restart. He discovered that there was a light screen in his eyes that others could not see - the "Memory Value Evaluation Panel". He could see whose brains were sleeping with the fire that would ignite the next era. When all forces were eager to use memories to forge scepters and cages, Chen Mo chose to take a more difficult path: he gathered those underestimated geniuses and mortals to found the "Civilization Revival Society." Their creed is: share memory, accelerate civilization, and face the future. However, as each black technology belonging to the future is ignited in advance, the shadow also falls. A mysterious force called the "Cleaner" begins to erase all "mistakes", and the cold laws of the universe issue a warning: Humanity's mad rush is leading to an approaching final dusk. Standing at a fork in the road, Chen Mo and his companions had to make a choice: Is it to succumb to "purification" and retreat to a safe past? Or bet all human memory and existence, make a crazy "civilization jump", and give birth to a brand new future from the ashes of the old universe? This is a story about rebirth, but much more than rebirth. This is about choice, between repairing the past and betting on the future, and finding a third way for human civilization.
