In the 23rd year of the Republic of China, Linxi, a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, had been raining for years. The townspeople rumored that a once-in-a-century "ghost flood" was coming. Every night, floating lanterns on the river spontaneously ignited, and dead souls crossed the bridge. The "Old House of the Bai Family" in the east of the town suffered mysterious deaths of three members ten years ago and has been closed since then. The copper Bagua mirror deep in the house rotates on its own every full moon night, reflecting figures that should not be there.
