Great Ming: Three Years in the Womb, the Zhu Family's Qilin Son

[Lighthearted, funny, making up for past regrets, parenting in reverse] Zhu Qi transmigrates to the Ming Dynasty and becomes the fifth legitimate son of Ma Huanghou, still waiting to be born. He awakens a “Divine Sign-in System”: as long as he stays unborn, his rewards will double! So, to reach max level before birth, Zhu Qi stubbornly stays in his mother’s womb for three whole years! Over those three years, Zhu Yuanzhang goes from overjoyed to devastated, and finally breaks down completely. “Meizi, is this child planning to spend his whole life as a prince in your belly?” Zhu Qi kicks back with a fetal movement, making Old Zhu grimace in pain. “What’s the rush? I’ll come out after I sign in for an elixir of immortality!” In the third year of Hongwu, the qilin child finally arrives. The court officials think the Ming Dynasty has gained an auspicious portent. Little do they know, it has gained a menace! Zhu Biao: “Father, my little brother ate your imperial meal and said your chef didn’t cook it properly!” Zhu Yuanzhang: “Let him be. I spoil him!” Zhu Biao: “Father, my little brother burned your memorials and said they were all trash. He even drew you a map of the world…” Zhu Yuanzhang: “?!?!?” To keep Ma Huanghou from dying young and his eldest brother, Zhu Biao, from working himself to death, Zhu Qi begins his daily routine of driving Old Zhu up the wall in all sorts of creative ways. Old Zhu: “I’m the founding emperor! I want to kill someone!” Zhu Qi: “Dad, have some milk tea and cool off. Here’s an improved formula for gunpowder. Take it and play with it, just don’t keep me from taking Mom on a trip!” Old Zhu: “…There’s no way to fight this war anymore. Being emperor is so frustrating, but how did our Ming Dynasty become invincible?”
