Late Tang Dynasty: Starting from Zhao Kuangyin

In 880 A. D., Modern historians discovered the soul of Zhao Kuangyin, a young man in the late Tang Dynasty - the younger brother of Zhao Kuangyin. In 907, Zhu Wen proclaimed himself emperor. He resolutely became independent and defeated the Liang army with kerosene and thunder, laying the foundation for the Five Prefectures. In the decisive battle of Luoyang in 923, the brothers met each other. He won without killing, and finally established the Zhou Dynasty and ascended the throne and proclaimed himself emperor. In the next thirteen years, he conquered Wuyue in the east, conquered Bashu in the west, rejected Khitan in the north, and promoted Lingnan in the south, thus reunifying the country. He also promulgated the "Laws of Zhou" to abolish torture, level the land and curb the powerful, promote movable type printing of agricultural books, set up an imperial college to recruit poor scholars, cast cannons to defend the frontier, and established the ancestral motto: "Never kill the scholar-bureaucrats and those who write letters and say things." In 950, Taizu died, and the prosperous age began. Its institutional civilization has spread as far as East Asia, and its scientific and technological heritage has been preserved for thousands of years.
