Basin, Rainy Season, Highlanders

The basin is a place without four seasons. The weather sums up the seasons simply: if it rains, it is the rainy season; if it doesn’t, it is the dry season. So a novel recording the lives of the basin’s people is also affected by the raindrops, becoming an innocent string of fields separated only by commas, fading into the hazy mist of the rainy season and turning into a story where reality and fantasy intertwine. The occasional full stop is a bubble rising when a raindrop falls into a pool.

A work that imitates the style of Autumn of the Patriarch.
