Overclocking Embers of Basketball

2004, Chicago's South Side. Chinese-American mixed-race point guard Chen Ke (Theodore) stands on the edge of a double cliff in life - behind him is a broken home, and in front of him is the verdict of "mediocre dynamic talent" in the scouting report. The only abnormality about him is that whenever he holds a basketball in his hand, his brain is forced into a [supercomputing mode] that understands all data and probabilities. But this is not a gift, but a "genius disease" at the cost of burning nerves and overdrawing life. In the real and cruel world of basketball, he must use this body that can collapse and this brain that can hurt to calculate the only dangerous path to success for the survival of his family and his own future.
