Unnecessary Life

My life has become an alien job. My name is Wu Ming, I have a bachelor's degree and am a delivery boy. I actively chose to live outside the orbit of mortgage loans and success, and considered myself sober. Until I discovered that all my difficulties and "luckiness" stemmed from an alien sociology student named Carl - I was the only observation sample in his graduation thesis. He creates troubles to test my "resilience to stress"; he arranges coincidences to observe my "rational choices." My existence is just a data stream in his academic evaluation. But the moment he let me know the truth, the experiment changed. I decided to use his unpredictable "human irrationality" to turn this one-way observation into a two-way game.
