The paranoid Jiro Tanaka, obsessed with pure souls, murdered fourteen girls and sealed the victims in empty cicada shells. The daughter of an ordinary woman, Sato Kazuko, was almost killed by a murderer. After seeing the indifference of the government and others, she went deep into the mountains alone to collect evidence, fought against the devil as a mortal, protected her daughter, and sought justice for the deceased. After years of rain, the dust of sin has settled. The hydrangea that blooms every year carries pain and tenderness. Later generations remember the souls of the deceased with goodwill, and the tragedy finally returns to peace in the tenderness passed down from generation to generation.
