Forty Years Old: Starting Again

Chen Jianghe, a forty-year-old construction foreman, lost his job during the real estate winter. Faced with the monthly mortgage of RMB 3,800, his son's tutoring fee, his mother's medical expenses and the pressure of his daughter's education, he was forced to return to his hometown in a small county from a big city. When he was desperate, he accepted the invitation of his uncle Li Jianjun, a "jianghu man" who ran an auto repair shop and also engaged in an accident car business, and became the on-site supervisor of the auto repair shop. From managing a construction site with hundreds of people to managing six vehicle repair workers with different personalities; from familiar steel and concrete to unfamiliar engine oil parts; from the decent "Master Chen" to the "airborne leader" who needs to prove himself again. Chen Jianghe used his 20 years of construction site wisdom to start a middle-aged man's "turning" to survive in this small auto repair shop full of the smell of engine oil, the atmosphere of rivers and lakes, and the rules of survival.
